Despite having already brought the likes of Lucas Torreira, Bernd Leno and Sokratis Papastathopoulos, amongst others, into the club this summer – Arsenal’s biggest signing this season could yet be Aaron Ramsey. That is if the Gunners can convince the Welshman, who has been with the club for a decade now, to sign a new contract at the Emirates Stadium. The 27-year-old is now in the final year of his current deal with the North London club, and a recent report in The Sun suggests that no progress has been made in negotiations despite an offer from the club being on the table.
