Fitness update: Maitland-Niles and Mustafi
There was a late change to our starting line-up against Real Madrid in Washington DC. Carl Jenkinson came into the side after Ainsley Maitland-Niles felt some pain in his calf during the warm-up.
Unai Emery gave an update on Ainsley - and Shkodran Mustafi - after the game.
"Ainsley started the warm-up but he felt some muscular pain," explained our head coach. "We decided not to risk him. Our objective was not to take injuries so we decided he didn't play.
"Mustafi's the same. He had some muscular pain.
