According to Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira, Arsenal are in talks with Alexandre Lacazette over a new contract at the club. The 28-year-old has found the back of the net on 38 occasions in 91 appearances for the Gunners since arriving from Lyon in the summer of 2017. The Frenchman still has little under three years remaining on his contract at the Emirates Stadium. However, according to Schira, Arsenal are holding talks with the attacker over a new deal which would run until 2023 and include a pay rise. Lacazette has netted twice in three Premier League appearances this season – including a goal against Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby last weekend. Watch...
