Montemurro on Slavia win, intensity, Veje and Maie
We booked our place in the Women’s Champions League quarter-finals with a 13-2 aggregate win over Slavia Prague on Thursday evening. Vivianne Miedema and Danielle van de Donk both hit hat-tricks while Kim Little and Jill Roord completed the rout. We spoke to Joe Montemurro after the match and this is what he said: on the performance… It was a good performance, I think our ability to play a little bit of a different midfield today, in terms of rotation and not playing with a solid number 6 was great because they rotated very well.
