We've been doing a variation of this Cann table – otherwise known the Premier League Long Table, as we simpletons at FFT Towers like to call it – for a while now. It ably demonstrates the gulf between pockets of the league, and develops nicely as the season wears on. After 11 games, a fairly chunky six-point gap has opened up between Liverpool in first and Manchester City in second. But that isn't the only gap emerging: there are now more points between Liverpool and fifth-placed Arsenal (14), than between Arsenal and bottom-placed Watford (12). That crossover...
