Caitlin Foord signs for Arsenal

Australian international Caitlin Foord has joined us from Sydney FC. The 25-year-old forward started her career at Sydney FC and has since gone on to play for Perth Glory, Sky Blue FC, Vegalta Sendai Ladies and Portland Thorns FC. At the age of 16, Caitlin was named in the Matildas Squad for the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Germany and was awarded ‘Best Young Player’ of the tournament. She has since featured for her national side on 77 occasions.  Foord won the top flight W-League Premiership twice, as well as Asian Women’s Young Footballer of the year in 2011, and Asian Women’s Footballer of the year in 2016.
