Having been sent on loan for the second-half of last season at RB Leipzig, Emile Smith Rowe may have hoped to have made a bigger impression in Germany than he ultimately did. Sadly for him, injuries played a big part in restricting him to just three appearances in the Bundesliga, and even that only totalled 26 minutes of football. The start to this campaign saw him make six appearances for the Arsenal first-team, but perhaps with one eye on his long-term development, he was once again sent on loan in the January transfer window.
