Half a million single-use cups saved from landfill
At today's match against Everton, we will celebrate saving half a million single-use plastic cups from going to landfill – which stacked up would equal the same height as 39,801 Per Mertesackers! In partnership with local company Camden Town Brewery, we became the first Premier League club to introduce a reusable cup scheme last season, which now saves approximately 20,000 cups per game.
The scheme has received great backing from supporters, who have utilised the purpose-built collection points around Emirates Stadium to ensure each cup reaches its maximum life of 200 uses.
