Remembering... our 1970 Fairs Cup victory

It's exactly 50 years since we beat Anderlecht on a dramatic night at Highbury to win the Fairs Cup in 1970. Bertie Mee's side were right up against it after going three goals down to the Belgian side in the first leg, but a late header from Ray Kennedy gave them a glimmer of hope. Six days later Anderlecht travelled to Highbury for the second leg - and were met with a completely rejuvenated Arsenal side. Eddie Kelly's early goal set things up nicely and we levelled the scores on aggregate when John Radford headed home in the second half.
