Arsenal 'complete first summer signing' as previous club confirm Lewis deal
Arsenal have completed the signing of unknown youngster George Lewis, according to his former club. Lewis, 19, spent a fortnight training with the Gunners in March after impressing for amateur Norwegian side Fram Larvik. After previously spending time on trial at Ipswich Town, Lewis has seemingly impressed Arsenal chiefs with Fram Larvik sporting director Jostein Jensen claiming a deal has been done. Whilst Arsenal are yet to formally announce the signing, it appears they may have done their first bit of business this summer as Mikel Arteta lays the foundations for his long-term project at the Emirates.
