Arsenal hit brick wall in transfer bid for Inter Milan ace Alessandro Bastoni
Alessandro Bastoni appears to be off limits to Arsenal with the player and Inter Milan not open to a transfer. The 21-year-old is on the Gunners’ radar ahead of the summer transfer window opening once the season finally finishes. Antonio Conte has promoted him into his first-team set up at the San Siro and his reputation is growing rapidly. Mikel Arteta is in the midst of an overhaul of Arsenal’s squad, and signing younger talents is on his agenda. French centre-half William Saliba, 19, will team up with his new colleagues in north London once his loan with Saint-Etienne ends this summer. But Bastoni will not be joining him at the Emirates Stadium for the start of the 2020/21 campaign....
