David Luiz transfer costs Arsenal 'up to £24m' for just one season
Arsenal could pay up to £24m for just one season of David Luiz's services. The Gunners signed the Brazilian in a surprise £8m deal from Chelsea on deadline day last summer. A player of Luiz’s ability and experience is rarely available for such a fee - let alone from a London rival. But one year on and the Gunners look set to lose the 33-year-old when his contract expires. Luiz only signed a one-year deal, with the club having the option of a further year, but reports suggest they won’t be activating it.
