Ray Parlour suggests alternative position for Arsenal to benefit from David Luiz
Arsenal may benefit from playing David Luiz in midfield instead of centre-back, as he is likely to make less costly mistakes there. That is the opinion of Gunners legend Ray Parlour. Luiz has come in for heavy criticism since his nightmare showing at Manchester City where he cost his side two goals and was sent off. Despite the shambolic performance, the Brazilian was given a contract extension last week, and also started against Sheffield United on Sunday. But Parlour doesn't think that Luiz should be a part of Mikel Arteta’s defensive plans, insisting he should play a back up role in midfield.
