Morning all. Pinch, punch… No, it’s not the first day of a new month. It’s the end of a week in which Arsenal have beaten the newly appointed League Champions and the runners up. Neither victory came with the kind of football one would associate with Arsenal. Not post George Graham anyway. Both were disciplined, determined, concentrated and committed. Both had everything from an early scare, strong challenges, goal mouth scrabbles, missed opportunities to score and moments of brilliance. Not a single booking yesterday, not a refereeing decision to hog the headlines, VAR quieter than a church mouse. Just once it was called into action I believe and that was for a penalty claim...
