Willian to Arsenal at an 'advanced stage' as Chelsea star makes contract demand
Arsenal's pursuit of Willian is at 'an advanced stage', according to reports in France. Chelsea have been desperate to keep the Brazilian at Stamford Bridge but have fallen flat with numerous efforts in recent months. Willian wanted a three-year deal to stay at the Blues, with bosses in west London only prepared to offer a one or two-year extension. France Football report Arsenal have offered the 31-year-old a three-year deal, however. But Willian is said to want the option of a further year extension to be added into his Emirates deal should he decide to switch London clubs.
