Mesut Ozil could cause contract problem for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Arsenal
Joey Barton believes Mesut Ozil’s wages could be having an impact on Arsenal team-mate Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Aubameyang is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal at the Emirates with his current contract ending next summer. Ozil is Arsenal’s highest earner, believed to be on £350,000 a week, though he has not played a single minute for the Premier League giants since March. Like Aubameyang, Ozil also has less than a year remaining on his Arsenal contract though insists he will decide when he leaves the club.
