Premier League clubs slammed for hiking shirt prices with some costing £100

Premier League clubs have been blasted for raising replica shirt prices by up to 69%. Supporters barred from games since March look likely to be shut out for months more after the new season kicks off next month. But some clubs are still cashing in on their loyal fans. Top flight sides Chelsea, and Manchester City are charging up to £100 for a basic replica home shirt – up an eye-watering 69% from last year’s £65. Arsenal are also demanding £100 for a replica Gunners shirt for next season. Personalising a shirt with a player’s name and number adds to the price.
