Ex-Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger 'offers to replace Ronald Koeman as Holland boss'
Arsene Wenger has reportedly offered to take over as the new Netherlands boss if Ronald Koeman leaves for Barcelona. Koeman is primed to be appointed as Quique Setien’s replacement following his sacking after Barcelona’s humiliating 8-2 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League. And according to Fox Sports’ former Arsenal boss Wenger has ‘offered’ to take in the Netherlands job. Wenger hasn’t managed since departing Arsenal in 2018 following his 22-year spell. The Frenchman has admitted he misses life in the dugout but at 70 years of age the demands of management may be too much for him.
