Gabriel Magalhaes' preference as Napoli make late offer after Arsenal agreement
Gabriel Magalhaes has revealed his preference as Napoli have made a las-minute bid – despite Arsenal agreeing a fee for the defender. The Gunners are reportedly favourites to secure the 22-year-old’s signature, offering a fee of £22m to Lille. It would see the north London side get an edge on Manchester United and Everton, who both expressed an interest in the Brazilian. Napoli, though, were seen as the most fierce contenders for Arsenal over the defender in the summer transfer window. And Sky Sports have said that the Serie A side are making an 11th-hour attempt to foil Mikel Arteta’s side.
