Man Utd ask for Gabriel Magalhaes favour as they attempt to hijack Arsenal deal
The Gabriel Magalhaes transfer saga continues to rumble on. Earlier this week, French outlet L'Equipe claimed the Lille defender was expected to make a final decision between Manchester United, Arsenal, Everton and Napoli before the week was out. However, the Independent report United have now asked the player to delay his decision as they lay out their proposals to him and his representatives. A meeting on Thursday with Magalhaes' agent has all of a sudden stopped Arsenal in their tracks, as they closed in on a deal.
