Arsenal’s plan as Gabriel Magalhaes must quarantine for 14 days after signing
Gabriel Magalhaes will have to quarantine after signing for Arsenal. The Lille defender looks set to join Mikel Arteta’s playing squad ahead of the new Premier League season, but he will be made to wait before meeting and training with his new team-mates. The Brazilian centre-back will be forced to follow Government rules when he does travel to England to finalise the deal, with sportsman having the same guidelines as the public. The current regulations state that anyone that travels from France to the UK must self isolate for 14 days, which will see him miss the Community Shield against Liverpool on August 29.
