Arteta aware of La Liga transfer trick which could land Arsenal Thomas Partey
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta knows all to well about taking advantage of La Liga players’ contracts and could act on it when it comes to Thomas Partey. The Spaniard is keen to sign a midfielder before the October 6 deadline and Atletico Madrid star Partey has caught his eye. Every player in La Liga has a mandatory buyout clause - something Arteta has exploited in the past. When working as an assistant under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, the club snapped up midfielder Rodri from Atletico.
