Arsenal told William Saliba a mix of 'Virgil van Dijk and Raphael Varane'
France youth coach Jean-Luc Vannuchi has compared Arsenal defender William Saliba to Virgil van Dijk and Raphael Varane. Saliba is gearing up for his first season at the club under manager Mikel Arteta, after returning from a loan spell at former club Saint-Etienne, and much is expected from the 19-year-old. He has been handed the number four shirt and Vannuchi, who coached Saliba, believes he is a generational talent.
