Arsenal player ratings vs Liverpool: Two standouts as Gunners win Community Shield on pens
Arsenal kickstarted their 2020-21 campaign with silverware, the FA Cup holders beating Premier League champions Liverpool on penalties in the Community Shield at Wembley on Saturday afternoon. For the first time since 1989, the two sides met at the home of the England national team and it was Arsenal who came out on top after a 1-1 draw in 90 minutes, winning 5-4 on penalties with only Liverpool substitute Rhian Brewster missing from 12 yards.
