Football in 2020 has been an adjustment for us all. Postponements, Covid-19 tests, empty stadiums, five subs, international triple-headers: the pandemic has dramatically altered the beautiful game. It is still beautiful, but there are some unavoidable imperfections. Predicting how the landscape will look in 2021, of course, seems like a fool’s errand.
