Mesut Ozil agent says star could have pocketed £30m if he left Arsenal in 2018
Mesut Ozil could have got a £30m signing-on fee as a free agent “at the peak of his career”, according to agent Dr. Ergut Sogut who has accused Arsenal of making him feel “unwanted and unwelcome”. The German has been exiled by Mikel Arteta after being left out of the Premier League and Europa League squads this season. While earning £350,000 a week, many believe the midfielder is “unlikely” to play for the north London side again. And Dr. Sogut has laid into the club for not responding to Ozil’s loyalty.
