Mesut Ozil takes swipe at Arsenal by liking tweets during Aston Villa hammering
Arsenal outcast Mesut Ozil was spotted liking tweets while his club was being beaten by Aston Villa. Ozil, who has been left out of the Gunners’ Premier League squad by Mikel Arteta, has not played since March. The midfielder is one of Arsenal’s highest earners though will be unable to play before January, at the earliest. He hit out at Arteta’s decision to leave him out of the squad and fans noticed Ozil liking tweets asking to ‘free him’. They were posted during Arsenal’s 3-0 home defeat by Aston Villa, meaning the Gunners have already lost four times this season.
