Arsenal and Liverpool target James Milner will only sign under first-team football promise

James Milner is wanted by both Arsenal and Liverpool
That is the view of former Arsenal and Celtic striker Charlie Nicholas, who believes the England international will go wherever regular starts are promised. England international Milner has been in excellent form recently for City, having scored four goals in his last six appearances. Both Arsenal and Liverpool have offered the midfielder, whose contract at City expires this summer, contracts to tempt him away from Lancashire. But the Yorkshireman appears in no rush to secure his future and is willing to wait for clubs to put together a package that suits his value. And Nicholas says he understands the 29-year-old's position....
