Arsenal scouts bewildered at decision to allow highly-rated star to leave club
A host of Arsenal chiefs are reportedly perplexed that former starlet Ismael Bennacer was allowed to leave the club back in 2017. The midfielder is currently impressing in Serie A with AC Milan, after his performances at fellow Italian side Empoli caught the eye. Bennacer, 23, joined Arsenal in 2015 but departed two years later after making a solitary appearance for the Gunners. However, according to CalcioMercato, some Arsenal chiefs don't understand why the youngster was allowed to depart so soon.
