Arsenal chiefs 'do not understand how Ismael Bennacer was allowed to leave'
The powers-that-be at Arsenal reportedly cannot contemplate how Ismael Bennacer was allowed to depart for next to nothing in 2017. The AC Milan midfielder only made one substitute appearance for the Gunners in the EFL Cup before joining Italian side Empoli, but Bennacer has since become one of the first names on the team sheet at San Siro. Since arriving at AC Milan last summer, Bennacer has already made 51 appearances for the Rossoneri and boasts four assists to his name this season in all competitions.
