Paul Merson fires back at Hector Bellerin in disagreement over Arsenal form
Paul Merson has hit back at Hector Bellerin’s claim that Arsenal are “on the right path” under Mikel Arteta, insisting he is “worried” about his former club. The Gunners are in dire straits right now after losing five of their first 10 Premier League games of the season, which has seen them slump to three straight defeats at home. Arteta is now under serious pressure ahead of Sunday’s crucial trip to north London rivals Tottenham, who are eight points clear of their arch-nemesis in first place.
