Ozil's Arsenal contract incentives become clear as transfer hopes are outlined
Mesut Ozil will receive a loyalty bonus if he stays at Arsenal beyond the January transfer window. The German, who signed a mega-money deal back in January 2018, has yet to feature for Arsenal this season. Mikel Arteta has excluded the German from any and all squads with the playmaker completely ostracised from the first team. It's a stark fall from grace for the former Real Madrid midfielder who was once seen as the Gunners most important player. According to The Mirror, though, Ozil's £350,000-a-week contract includes loyalty bonuses and incentives for him staying.
