Arsene Wenger has told Mikel Arteta he has managed ‘sensitive’ Mesut Ozil all wrong by freezing him out of the Arsenal team. Ozil was left out of Arteta's Premier League and Europa League squads for the first half of the season, meaning he cannot play for the Gunners until next month at the earliest. By that time the £350,000-per-week midfielder will have entered the final six months of his Arsenal deal, and could sign a pre-contract agreement to join another club on a free transfer.
