Thierry Henry 'refused to watch Arsenal' with Granit Xhaka as captain, says Evra

Patrice Evra has claimed Thierry Henry once turned his television off during an Arsenal match when he saw that Granit Xhaka was captaining his former club. Xhaka has proved a controversial figure at The Emirates in recent years, with several Gunners fans calling for him to be sold when he swore at them while being substituted during a clash with Crystal Palace last year - which saw him stripped of the captaincy. The Switzerland midfielder had somewhat rebuilt his reputation since Mikel Arteta arrived in north London, playing a crucial part in their FA Cup triumph last season.
