Arsenal chief Edu breaks silence over Mikel Arteta future as fans call for sack

Arsenal chief Edu has backed Mikel Arteta to turn things around at the Emirates, despite the Gunners’ poor form. Arsenal lost at home to Burnley on Sunday and have now made their worst start to a top-flight season since 1974-75. The Gunners have already lost seven Premier League matches and sit 15th in the table after playing 12 games. Fans understandably want change with Arteta having come under plenty of criticism from the Arsenal die-hards. Though technical director Edu believes getting rid of the Spaniard would not be beneficial in the long-term, despite the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Granit Xhaka struggling.
