Arsenal chief Edu hints at Ozil solution arriving in January transfer window
Arsenal's technical director hinted that a solution will be found to Mesut Ozil's Gunners exile ahead of the January transfer window. Ozil has not played for Arsenal since March, and was left out of Mikel Arteta's Premier League and Europa League squads for the first half of the season. In his absence the North London side have lacked creativity, and have slipped alarmingly to 15th place in the table after seven defeats from their opening 12 top-flight games. Many observers have called for Ozil to be brought back in from the cold next month, when he can be re-registered in Arteta's squads for both domestic and European competition.
