William Gallas slams Mikel Arteta and tips another Arsenal legend to replace him
Former Arsenal defender William Gallas insists Mikel Arteta is not the right man to take the club forward - and instead wants Patrick Vieira to replace him. Arteta has overseen the Gunners’ worst start to a top-flight campaign since the 1974/75 season, which has left them hovering above the relegation zone in 15th after losing seven of their first 13 matches. It has been a disastrous first full season in charge for the Spaniard, who got his hands on the FA Cup last term after replacing sacked boss Unai Emery halfway through the campaign.
