Under-fire Mikel Arteta admits Arsenal not good enough when pushed over future

Mikel Arteta has admitted that his Arsenal team are “not good enough” as he comes under fire. The Gunners boss saw his side make it seven Premier League games without a win, limping to a 2-1 defeat against Everton. It leaves the north London side, who have never been relegated from the top-flight, in 15th place – just four points off the bottom three. When pressed on his future at Arsenal, Arteta made an honest admission about his position. He simply said: “My energy and focus is only on getting the team out of that situation.
