William Saliba feels ‘frustrated’ as Arsenal defender is puzzled by own exile
William Saliba is confused and frustrated by his own Arsenal exile, it has been claimed. The defender arrived in the summer from Saint-Etienne as one of the most sought after centre-backs in Europe. But Arsenal fans excited to see the 19-year-old in action have been left bitterly disappointed. Saliba has barely scratched the Arsenal first team and was left out of Mikel Arteta's Premier League and Europa League squads. Despite the Gunners boss admitting he made a mistake by leaving the defender out of his Europa League squad, Saliba was nowhere near the team for Arsenal's Carabao Cup tie against Manchester City on Tuesday.
