Mesut Ozil 'wants £68,000 a week from Arsenal until 2023'
Arsenal attacker Mesut Ozil reportedly wants £68,000 a week from the Gunners until 2023 in order to leave the club before the end of the month. The 32-year-old's current deal at the Emirates Stadium is due to run until June, but it is understood that the capital giants have opened discussions with the playmaker over the possibility of buying out his contract. Ozil earns £350,000 a week at the club, but according to The Sun, the former Germany international is preparing to offer Arsenal the chance to spread out the remainder of his contract until 2023.
