A closer look at Man City's phenomenal 16-game winning run

Manchester City's 16th successive win on Saturday evening saw them extend their record-breaking run of consecutive victories for an English top-flight side across all competitions. Extending their streak with a 3-0 home win against Tottenham in the Premier League, Pep Guardiola's men pushed into uncharted territory having already surpassed the 14-game winning streaks of Preston in 1891-92 and Arsenal in 1987.
