Arsenal eyeing Aston Villa flop Jordan Amavi on free transfer this summer

Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a move to sign Marseille defender Jordan Amavi on a free transfer this summer. Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is set to target a left-back in the summer transfer window to provide competition and cover for Kieran Tierney. And he has been linked with a swoop for Amavi, who has rebuilt his career at Marseille after flopping at Aston Villa. But Arsenal may have to battle AC Milan for the 26-year-old's signature - while Amavi's current club Marseille are hopeful he will extend his contract.
