Arsenal hero Arshavin's ex-wife fighting for life after catching Covid in coma
The ex-wife of Arsenal cult hero Andrey Arshavin is fighting for her life in hospital after catching COVID-19. Former model and journalist Alisa Arshavina, 38, contracted the virus while in intensive care due to an unrelated illness. Before catching Covid in a St Petersburg hospital, she had acute pancreatitis and peritonitis, and was put into an artificial coma, reports say. Her mother Natalia Sarycheva said the player’s former wife had been in intensive care 'between life and death' for eight days.
