Arsenal 'launch offer' for Sassuolo's Manuel Locatelli after Euro 2020 heroics
Mikel Arteta has launched an offer for Sassuolo's Euro 2020 star Manuel Locatelli, who has impressed for Italy during their group stage fixtures. The 23-year-old has earned admirers all over Europe, and he scored twice against Switzerland before being rested against Wales on Sunday as Italy progressed through to the last 16. Juventus have had the starlet on their radar for a long time, and Sassuolo want £34million for Locatelli but Juventus are hoping to land him on a two-year loan. However, Arsenal could be ready to swoop in, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, and the Gunners have put an offer in for the youngster.
