Odegaard's heartfelt farewell to "Arsenal family" as he returns to Real Madrid
Martin Odegaard has issued a heartfelt farewell to his “Arsenal family” after he returned to Real Madrid following his loan spell with the Gunners. The Norwegian is set to stay in the Spanish capital as he hopes to resurrect his career with Los Blancos after seeing Carlo Ancelotti replace Zinedine Zidane. The Gunners had been keen to bring Odegaard back to the Premier League on a permanent basis, after an impressive loan spell over the second half of last season. Odegaard became a regular in Mikel Arteta’s midfield, making 20 appearances in all competitions during his time at the Emirates Stadium.
