Arsenal's former £35million talent is now a free agent and struggling to find a club

Former Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi is said to be struggling in his quest to find a new club following the termination of his contract at the Emirates in January. Despite joining Bundesliga outfit Schalke on a permanent deal after leaving the Premier League, he was released back in May following their relegation to the second tier. To make matters worse, a public vote saw him voted as the Bundesliga's 'loser of the season' by supporters, finishing on the winning side in just two of his 13 appearances.
