Mikel Arteta identified seven areas of weakness in the Arsenal squad when he prepared to take over as manager. It comes as he continues his revolution at the Emirates after wholesale changes to the squad since his arrival. The Spaniard made it his mission to chop up the team and bring in all the players he wanted and he has wasted no time in doing so. He scrapped the contracts of big earners such as Mesut Ozil, Shkodran Mustafi and Sokratis Papastathopoulos.
