Arsenal to free up over £250k from weekly wage bill imminently to boost their budget

Arsenal look set to free up over £250,000-a-week from their weekly wage bill - giving their budget a big boost with one week left of the transfer window. The Gunners have been good at bringing players in this summer, signing Albert Sambi-Lokonga, Nuno Tavares, Martin Odegaard, Ben White and Aaron Ramsdale at a combined cost of £140million. But they've been less proficient at letting players go, with Joe Willock's £22million move to Newcastle their only significant piece of business in the other direction.
