Willian's Corinthians wages emerge as Arsenal flop saves Gunners £20m
Willian’s wages at Corinthians have emerged as the Arsenal flop looks set to save the club £20m with his departure. The Brazilian arrived at the Emirates Stadium last summer on a free transfer but suffered a torrid time, scoring just one goal in 37 games. And some of his performances saw fans call for the 33-year-old, who joined for three years on a £240,000-a-week contract, to be shown the door. But Sky Sports have reported that Willian has taken things into his own hands, taking a huge pay cut to get out of the club.
