Ben White branded a ‘£50m disaster’ despite lucky escape in Arsenal win at Burnley
Criticism has been aimed at Ben White after what was considered a poor performance from the Arsenal defender against Burnley. The Gunners ran out 1-0 winners at Turf Moor in the Premier League clash thanks to a wonderful free-kick buried by Martin Ødegaard. But beyond the three points, concerns were raised about the display of White, 23, whose mistake led to a penalty that was eventually overturned by VAR.
